2. These terms
These terms apply when you use this website or buy goods from AVERUNE. Please read them before ordering. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory consumer rights.
3. Products and information
We aim to describe and display products accurately. Images and colours may appear differently depending on lighting and screen settings. Materials, garment weight, measurements, fit and care guidance apply only as stated for the specific product. Minor variations in colour, placement and finish can occur within normal production tolerances.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. The total price, including applicable taxes and delivery charges, will be shown before you place your order. Payment must be authorised using a method available at checkout. We may correct an obvious pricing or description error before accepting an order and will contact you if it affects an order already submitted.
5. Orders and contract formation
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean we have accepted the order. A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or dispatch, whichever occurs first. We may decline or cancel an order where payment is not authorised, stock is unavailable, delivery is not possible, information is incomplete or incorrect, or there is an obvious error. If payment has been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, we will refund it.
6. Delivery
Delivery destinations, charges and estimates are shown at checkout. Unless another period is agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days. Estimates are not guaranteed dates. Orders may arrive in separate parcels. Please see our Shipping & Delivery page.
7. Cancellation, returns and refunds
For most online purchases, you may cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods and then have a further 14 days to return them. Statutory exceptions can apply, including goods made to your personal specification and certain sealed goods once unsealed. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are handled in accordance with UK consumer law. Please see our Returns & Refunds page for the process and full information.
8. Sizing, care and use
You are responsible for checking the product measurements and size guide before ordering and for following the garment care label. Fit preferences are personal, so compare the stated measurements with a garment you already own where possible.
9. Our responsibility
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of your statutory rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
10. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and will contact affected customers where appropriate. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
11. Website and intellectual property
All AVERUNE branding, original text, graphics and website content are owned by or licensed to us. You may use the website for personal shopping and may not reproduce or exploit its content commercially without permission.
12. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Shopify and relevant service providers process information needed to operate the store, take payment, deliver orders and provide support.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version applying to an order is the version available when the order is placed.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you also retain the protection of mandatory laws that apply where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
